Our mental health has been challenged and pushed to new limits in the name of COVID-19.

The recognition that we, as a community, as a society, and as a world, can all be impacted by things out of our control.

The reminder that life can change so dramatically and so quickly has forced us to look at ourselves differently.

Many of us are left with thoughts of:

Mental health is now a BIGGER and BOLDER conversation than ever before.

Anxiety and depression have become much more mainstream. It is no longer just for “others.” It has knocked on nearly every door at some point over the last year, bringing fear and uncertainty, exhaustion, and negativity.

There are so many questions and no concrete answers…

Is there a future to fight for?

How will it ever get better?

Will I be able to make it?

YES… you can and you will make it. Things will get better.

IF we start having a different conversation with ourselves, and the society we engage with.

💬 Talk. Talk. Talk.

💬 Share your stuff (your thoughts and feelings)

💬 Get the negativity out of your head and body everyday through spending time outdoors, taking

movement breaks, meditation and writing.

Can you choose something different for yourself today?

Allow the above suggestions to help you change your thought pattern, even if only for a minute. The minutes will turn into hours, and eventually, it becomes a routine. Don’t give up until these changes become part of you!

It won’t be easy. Like every new skill that you learn, it requires a commitment to stay on track. There will be setbacks and slip ups. But in the end, YOU will be nicer to yourself.

Your loving self talk will provide love and acceptance for the setbacks and make it easier to start again. Don’t give up.

Mental health is a strong force. It’s you against your brain.

But… your subconscious controls 90% of your mind, only 10% is you.

Imagine now that your subconscious holds all of your negativity. All the triggers of your past. All the mistakes you made and all the beliefs other people have instilled in you.

The idea of fighting against that may feel overwhelming or exhausting. But the alternative is much worse. It’s a lot of negative emotions that sabotage your day, throw you off track, and perpetuate negative self talk.

Start with baby steps. Tiny thoughts.

💕 Plant seeds for a new garden of feelings.

💕 Thoughts of Love and worth

💕 Feelings of Calm and strong

💕 Tell yourself, “I am enough”

💕 “I deserve”

💕 “I desire”

💕 “I can”

💕 “I will”

💕 “I do”

💕 “I am”

If you are struggling with Mental Health you do not need to struggle alone.

The conversation is BIGGER and bolder now.

The feelings that you have ARE VALID. As the vibration of the world is quieter, the vibration of yourself is louder. Emotions are screaming from the inside out. You can choose to let them simmer in your body creating more negativity or you can stand up to yourself. As mentioned above, choose one different thought today even if it’s just for one second.

● See how it feels. Then repeat.

● It is easier to be more successful when you share your plans with others.

● If you are alone and feel isolated find your group on social media where you can find support.

● Use free resources that are out there that can guide you on a path to mental wellness. ( we can help with this!)

● Invite your friends and family in to your thoughts and allow them to share in the positive thoughts you’re trying to build. Everyone can benefit from this!

And finally, find a professional. Someone who can help guide your journey to discovering the thoughts that keep you stuck, and help you shift them, so you can feel your best everyday!
