Our wonderful WOMB Naturopathic Doctors all have a special interest in family planning, fertility, pregnancy, post-partum care, and pediatrics. They will guide and empower you to take control of your own health. Appointments have a strong focus on patient education and working towards a preventative approach to health. Naturopathic Doctors treat using herbs, supplements, dietary and lifestyle guidance, homeopathy, acupuncture, and vitamin injections. They can see all members of the family and provide integrative primary care including well-child checks.
Our Naturopathic team helps our patients establish optimal health prior to conception. For those using assisted reproductive technologies, naturopathic care may help to improve rates of a healthy, full-term pregnancy by balancing hormones, creating an optimal environment for pregnancy, and improving male factor fertility. We educate our patients how to properly track and understand their fertility signs. Each patient receives a customized plan to address their barriers to healthy conception including stress management, detoxification, dietary modifications and herbal and supplemental therapies to help balance hormones and improve fertility.
Naturopathic medicine helps women to nourish a healthy pregnancy and baby. We use a customized and tailored approach to each stage of your pregnancy to make sure your specific needs are met. Our Naturopathic Doctors treat using diet and lifestyle guidance as well as herbs, supplements, and vitamin injections. They are also trained in acupuncture, which can assist throughout your pregnancy with many common concerns.
Naturopathic Care can help with the following during pregnancy:

In addition, our team can prepare you for birth by helping with optimal baby positioning, bringing on labour without induction when you and your baby are ready, and assisting in reducing the rate of medical interventions including forceps, vacuum, or Cesarean birth.

Pediatric Well- Baby and Well- Child Visits
Have you ever wondered about a Well-Baby or Well-Child Visit?
Our Naturopathic Doctors offer Well-Baby or Well-Child visits as a complement or alternative to regular medical care. Prior to the visit, you will complete a full online intake form which your Naturopathic Doctor will go over with you in the session. She will ask questions about birth and pregnancy history, family history, feeding, diet, digestion, sleep, temperament, milestones and more! The visit also consists of a full assessment of your baby or child including: measuring weight, height, and head circumference, listening to their lungs and heart, looking at their abdomen, hips, reflexes, and skin. There will lots of time to answer any questions and discuss a treatment plan to optimize you child’s health or address any concerns. Our Naturopathic Doctors also provide you with anticipatory guidance of what to expect in the next few months of your baby’s life!
